New Explosion Proof Lighting Launching in 2026

Class I, Division 1 Linear Luminaire

Although C1D1 linear luminaires represent a relatively niche category, they are indispensable in many facilities such as process units, enclosed modules, and maintenance corridors. GRINSAFE’s C1D1 linear light is engineered with:

  • Robust enclosure design for Division 1 gas environments
  • Optimized thermal dissipation for continuous operation
  • Installation flexibility for confined or linear spaces
  • Emergency battery back-up options

This product reflects GRINSAFE’s commitment to providing complete hazardous lighting solutions, not only high-demand models.

Globally Certified Explosion Proof High Bay Light

GRINSAFE will introduce a new explosion proof high bay luminaire certified to UL 844, IECEx, and ATEX, enabling unified specifications for global projects in 2026.
Key engineering considerations include:

  • UL844 Class I Division 1,  ATEX & IECEx Zone 1 listed
  • High efficiency LED light engine with controlled junction temperature
  • Structural design optimized for mounting at height
  • Optical configurations suitable for large industrial spaces
  • Can be used in -60°C extremely low-temperature environment

This luminaire is designed to simplify engineering approvals while maintaining consistent performance across regions.

IECEx-Certified Explosion-Proof Flood Light

To further strengthen our IECEx portfolio, a new explosion-proof flood light will be launched in 2026. This product is engineered for:

  • Wide-area illumination in outdoor hazardous locations
  • Mechanical stability under wind load and vibration
  • Long-term reliability in high-temperature and corrosive environments

It expands GRINSAFE’s IECEx offering for Middle East and European projects where flood lighting is critical.

Engineering Improvements to Existing Products

In parallel with new product development, GRINSAFE will implement engineering upgrades across existing luminaire families:

  • Expanded certification scope: Some lighting will be upgraded with additional approvals such as ATEX, CE, and CB to meet international project specifications
  • Improved industrial protection: New mounting bracket designs with higher vibration ratings will be introduced for dynamic structures and heavy machinery
  • Enhanced corrosion protection: Upgraded coating processes and expanded stainless-steel component options will improve resistance in marine and offshore environments

These improvements are driven by real operating conditions rather than laboratory assumptions.
